Small-scale Technology Certificates
Federal STC rebate
The main federal solar rebate — and it comes straight off your system cost. Applies to both solar and battery installations, and we include it in every quote automatically.
- You receive STCs based on your system size and location
- We claim them on your behalf — you won't need to lift a finger
- For a typical 6.6kW solar system, usually worth $2,400–$2,900
- For batteries it's now approx. $350 per kWh — an average of $4,800 back
For homes and rentals
Solar Victoria PV rebate
The state rebate on solar panels, for owner-occupiers and eligible rental properties.
- Up to $1,400 off your solar system
- Available for owner-occupiers and eligible rental properties
- Must use an approved installer — which we are, of course
Interest-free
Solar Victoria battery loan
An interest-free loan to cover a battery, which can be stacked on top of the rebates above.
- Up to $8,800, interest-free
- Paid off over 4 years
- Can be combined with the STC rebate and the Solar Vic PV rebate
- Available for new battery installs or retrofitting to an existing system
